About Me
“ I picked up photography in 2002. I was working as a Product Specialist for a musical instrument manufacturer and I traveled extensively. While on these frequent work trips I would spend the majority of my free time exploring whatever city or town I was in with my camera ready. I would get up before the sunrise, head out after dark, and take quick detours off of the long stretches of highway between my work appointments. In 2007 I got just the kick in the pants I was needing. I was laid-off. I took a leap of faith, changed careers and put all of my energy into photography. I invested in a new camera, lenses and lighting equipment, started expanding and refining my skills, and made Eyeful Images a full time endeavor. With my background in music, I focused primarily on photographing concerts, musician portraits and promotional photos for local bands and DJs as well as some musical instrument product photography. Over time the scope of the projects I was both interested in and hired to photograph grew. I started freelancing for the Phoenix New Times shooting concerts, nightlife and various other events. My Fine Art Photography has been featured in several publications including Black & White Magazine, where my image "Old Ways" received a Merit Award and in Focus Fine Art Photography Magazine, where my image "Detached" was featured on the cover.
After several years of exploring almost every type of photography, my deepest passion is for photographing people. I photograph economists and executives, models and musicians, DJs, dancers and directors, artists, athletes and actors, couples, children and families. All a joy to meet and pleasure to work with. In October 2009 I began working with John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center in Scottsdale Arizona photographing their many wonderful modeling and acting students.
